The Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute is playing host to two of fashion’s most intriguing and gifted women, Elsa Schiaparelli and Miuccia Prada through their “Impossible Conversations” exhibition. The exhibit explores the affinity between the two Italian designers separated by decades. In fact, Miuccia will be on hosting duty along with Vogue EIC, Anna Wintour and actress Carey Mulligan as they welcome the world’s most fashionable crowd tonight.
The Met Gala has long been hailed as “fashion’s prom night,” and as always, the red carpet didn’t dare disappoint.
